Today I Wish to talk about Kombucha. Which is obviously completely unrelated to these Banana Oatmeal Cookies, but I know you won't obey.
Let me begin by stating that my husband drinks apple cider vinegar mixed with water daily to reduce inflammation or anything like this.
He claims it's magical. I assert it is nasty.
While I understand this is going to seem dramatic (cause it is)I literally dry heave at the sight and odor of his early ritual to a daily basis. He loves that about me.
Depending on this reaction, an individual would think that I would stay far away from Kombucha, correct? I mean, after all, it certainly comes with a vinegary tang.
But for some reason, I continue trying it. I Wish to enjoy it SO DANG BAD.

I like these cookies somewhat about the undercooked side, so I bake them for 9 or 10 seconds. If you prefer these to be cooked through, I would shoot for 10-11 minutes.

BANANA OATMEAL COOKIES
1/2 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1 large egg
1 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 cup pops flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 tsp ground cinnamon
Scrape the sides of the bowl and then blend in the egg until fully incorporated. Scrape down the sides of the bowl again and add in the skillet and vanilla.
In a medium bowlwhisk together the flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon.
Gradually add the bread mixture to the banana mixture and blend until just blended.
Scrape the go sides of the bowl and stir to recombine.
Use a moderate cookie scoop (about 1.5 tablespoons) to scoop the dough onto prepared cookie sheets leaving about 2 inches between each cookie.
Bake in preheated oven for 9-11 minutes.
Remove cookies from the oven and then lightly press on the tops of each cookie using the bottom of a drinking glass. Considering these cookies don't spread considerably, this can give them a traditional cookie form.
Enable the banana oatmeal cookies to cool on the cookie sheets for 5 minutes before removing them to a wire rack to cool completely.
